Rent and deposit are paid in the app, through a licensed partner payment processor. OnRoom does not hold the funds: the partner processor processes them. OnRoom charges a platform fee of 2% of each rent payment, paid by the tenant on top of the rent, and 2% of the rent is withheld from the landlord's payout. No fee is charged on the deposit. Both fees are shown before payment. Publishing a listing is free.
